Description

This Viper was entered in the 24h Le Mans Race in 1999 by Brookspeed Motorsport (Start No. 86), driven by Clark / König / Lintott and did the pre-qualifying. Unfortunately Brookspeed Motorsport struggled to finish the car properly in time. Therefore it did only a few laps in the Pre-Qualifying and could not qualify for the race (see pictures and text in the official Le Mans book).

Later the car was race prepared by Chamberlain Motorsport.

The car was then sold to Neil Waterworth and supported by John Griffiths Motorsports Ltd to run it in the British GT Championship. The colour was changed from black to red.

In 2001 it competed in the British GT Championship with Curtis Hayles as Car No. 62. In November 2004 it took part in the Britcar raceday Donington Open 2 Hour Race (3 - 6 November 2004), Car number 22, Driven by: Griffin / Neil Waterworth.

In 2008 this Viper was overall winner of the GT90's Revival Series held by Stephane Ratel.

Very fast car with nice and confirmed race history.

The Viper is equiped with a Caldwell engine.
